COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Title: Manual NVR Part 1
In this course, we will dive deep into the anatomical structures of the neck, head, and upper thoracic aperture—including the shoulder girdle, ribcage, and the neural, vascular, and visceral systems.
A key focus will be on the gentle and precise work with the vascular system. You will learn techniques to immediately normalize the tone of tense muscles, helping to release shortened myofascial chains, improve posture, and reduce movement restrictions. These arterial techniques are particularly valuable for conditions such as whiplash or frozen shoulder.
Additionally, we will address fascial restrictions of nerves, including the cervical and brachial plexuses, intercostal nerves, accessory nerve, vagus nerve, phrenic nerve, and dura mater. These techniques help alleviate pain and improve both the structural and functional balance of the body.
What else you will learn in this course:
✅ How to treat with less physical effort
✅ More efficient techniques for precise results
✅ New strategies for addressing common complaints
✅ Refining your palpation skills
✅ Adjusting treatment speed to help the body integrate changes more effectively
✅ Utilizing osteopathic methods, such as listening, in a targeted manner
Course Goal: Achieve greater mobility, improved structural and functional balance, and nervous system regulation for your patients.

Kieran Schumaker – Board Certified Structural Integrator
Kier began working as a massage therapist in 1998 and completed training as a Structural Integrator (ATSI) in 2005.
Since 2006, Kier has been deeply engaged in the study of the nervous system, expanding this focus to the vascular system in 2010. In 2013, Kier developed a unique curriculum for Neurovascular Release.
Since 2020, this course series has been offered both online and in person, helping therapists and movement educators deepen their understanding of structural and functional balance in the body from a neurovascular perspective.
You also have the opportunity to book an additional mentoring session with Kier Schumaker—either on the day before or the morning after the course. This private session is tailored to your individual needs, allowing you to address specific challenges, clarify open questions, and receive personalized support. This way, you can maximize the benefits of the training and immediately apply what you’ve learned to your own practice.
